Oh Liz, I love this!!! First the names Marnie and Chuck, it reminds me of old movie stars and it fits your characters so well. I love the whole dynamics in the group of friends. I'm looking forward to the whole thing with Marnie and the friends. Will she destabilize the group? My money is on that LOL.

Loved this bit: I slammed my own locker shut, storming off. It felt pretty epic, until I realized that I had come to school with Noah and he'd be bringing Grace home, so all that I could do was go wait on his hood and hope to think of a good argument.

Really good teaser! Your characters are fun and easy to relate to. And the scene where they are all doing each others homework actually felt like high school. Good joB!
