New England, I love you, but you're bringing me down

Could it stop down pouring for five minutes? Also, if the sun could stay up past four p.m. I'd appreciate it.

So, Teaser Tuesday is tomorrow (yayyy!) but before I post, I have a question.
Does everyone pull down their teases? If so, when and why?

Hey Liz! I pull down my teasers on Wednesday. Since I'm agented and my WIPs will eventually be submitted to editors (hopefully!) I don't want those snippets hanging out on my blog forever. I don't think there's a right or wrong way to do teasers, but that's the best way for me.

I haven't taken down my teasers. Yet. But I also stopped posting from my finished work because I didn't want too much of it out there. I don't want to take them all down since agents have said they visit your blog to check your writing out. Maybe if I get an agent I would pull them down, though, for reasons like Kristin.

That's what I figured. It's so great to share what we're writing and agents reading your blog makes sense (thanks corrine!!) but it makes me nervous sometimes to have pieces of my baby out there!

Thanks so much guys!

I didn't used to take mine down, but then I started to feel like I was eventually going to have way more of my WIPs hanging around on my blog than I was comfortable with. And I really love doing Teaser Tuesday, so in a compromise with myself, I decided to take them down a day or two after I post.
I can be sort of secretive sometimes, so I feel a lot better this way :)
But I don't think it hurts you to have them up.
