Great tease! I love your MC's internal dialogue, and the flow of your words.
And Suriel is a cool name!

I love the description of the "errant water" and really want to know what's going on!

And again I say--this is so going to be a heartbreaker! You have some awesome descriptive prose. Also love the bittersweet tone of your MC's IM. Lovely.

Beautiful. Your prose is almost poetic and your story is heartbreaking. I'm so curious about some of the things said.

This made me so sad, but in a good way. Death sucks.

I agree with the others - heartbreaking. This is wonderful and bitter and wonderful and...it will make me cry for sure!

We both know how much I loved this story, and reading the snippets just brings it all back! I especially love the last line. 'The floor is lava.' Sums up her wanting to stay there forever. Keep it up girly!

Dude, this makes me sad. The beginning was very bittersweet.

This is so poignant and beautiful.
How come every hot guy these days is called Riley? :P
I wanna know how it ends yet it makes me so sad to think about it *sigh*

Every week your writing just hits me straight in the gut. This time in particular it was "When will the hard ground finally thaw out and sweep gracefully into spring? Will I make it that long?" Beautiful.

Aww! That's so sad.

Absolutely heartbreaking but I love her internal dialogue.

*sigh* I can feel the chemistry here. I loved it, but it made me sad at the same time. Great job. :)

This makes me sigh with all the beautiful imagery and the love between the two, then I start to feel so sad. Great job evoking the reader's emotions. :)

I just found your blog on AW, hello!

Love your writing, this scene feels very real and intimate.

Beautiful and sad as usual. What I like about this is that the sadness is very subtle, like the line where she says she could get used to domestic sounds. Because as a reader, you know she won't get that chance. Good job!
