Love the emotions on this! The descriptions of his longing for Anna are so real and sad. Obviously CJ comes in to change the tone of the excerpt. I'm hooked!
I love the regret. The running over the list of what went wrong. I can feel the emotion.
Aw!! Sniff, sniff...you know I love this part, especially where he's thinking of Anna and letting himself believe she's right there with him. So heart-breaking.

I can almost FEEl the emotions your MC is feeling. I absolutely loved the image you paint in my mind through your imagery.

I feel so bad for Milo. But CJ does bring some smile on my face, which is good. I didn't want to drown in all the sorrow. I wonder what happened to Anna
